The 2023 Lexus RX 350: So beautifully re-styled it's re-invigorating
The new Lexus RX 350 for 2023 is expected to arrive soon at Lexus of Riverside. It will come with all the remarkable capabilities you expect in the Lexus RX 350, one of the original SUV pioneers that helped forge the revolution. The Lexus RX 350 has been handsomely redesigned from the ground up for 2023. It comes with fresh new innovation inside and dynamic new levels of power under the hood. Let's take a brief guided tour.
Exterior design
The trademark Lexus RX 350 spindle grille motif greets you in a face-to-face encounter. The grille has been tastefully redesigned with sportier, tighter lines. A trio of LED headlights show the way forward out of a succinct, blade-like design that converges with the well-sculptured hood lines. The side profile displays an even more dynamic persona and the wheels make their own design statement with a glittering, jewel-like shine.
Performance
The newest edition of the Lexus RX 350 will raise the standard for combining power and efficiency. The base engine will be a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be good for 275 horsepower and that engine will be teamed up with a buttery-smooth eight-speed automatic. Torque in the base model is expected to be about 317 pound-feet and an available hybrid option will come with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and an electric motor.
Fuel efficiency
It's expected that the new 2023 Lexus RX 350 will deliver better fuel efficiency than the current V6 engine. Industry reviewers project that fuel economy will get an upgrade of about 2 mpg across the board compared with the previous base engine. That means the expected EPA rating should be about 22 MPG on city streets and up to 29 MPG when you're on highways around Riverside and San Bernardino CA.
Interior amenities
Reviewers at MotorTrend praised the RX 350's consistently luxurious interior quality even in a pre-production version. The 2023 model has an upgraded the cockpit with a sweeping new dashboard that includes premium touches like open pore wood trim. A connected infotainment center will be highlighted by a driver-oriented touchscreen display taking center stage. It will be available in either a 9.8-inch or 14.0-inch configuration.
Interior space
The MotorTrend editors were also impressed with the skill of Lexus designers and engineers in packaging this SUV. The back seat is spacious in a way that some competitors can't match. In addition, the cargo area can accommodate even more than before. Yet the Lexus RX 350 manages to avoid the bloated design bulges that encumber many rival SUVs. Even with the extra interior room, you can still pull into a parking spot with ease.
